I fell asleep on my bass guitar last night.by *Wo-Daikiri-Ni
I was just sitting there, my insomnia forcing me awake three hours before my alarm clock would signal that it was time to wake up for school, listening to the radio and plucking out notes. A Coheed and Cambria song came on my local alternative rock station. I couldn't stop the tears this time.
Ben Ben Ben Oh my god, Ben. Why does your favorite band have to be so damned over-played?
It wouldn't leave me even after I shut the radio off, after I curled up on my couch with my bass clutched to my chest. And I fell asleep. But you don't have to be awake to cry.

| "they say i'm just a stupid kid, another crazy radical. rock 'n roll is dead, i probably should have stayed in school. another generation x who somehow slipped up through the cracks. oh, they'd love to see me fall, but i'm all ready on my back." my name is jemma alexendria brock. i am fifteen and living in a small town in the center of illinois. i go by two different cornfields on my way to school. i often obsess over my chemical romance, fall out boy, cage the elephant, panic! at the disco, all time low, cobra starship, the academy is..., hey monday, blink-182, and boys like girls. when i was little i used to tear my teeth out before they were loose and have fake coughing fits in class and spit them out on my desk. my ears are currently at a 16 gauge.  |
